Hi! I'm off to Berlin with my class the 27-30 of april. i'm wondering if there's any riders there i could hook up with?
i've checked google earth anf found that berlin is mostly flat, but there's got to be some hills right?
i'll be staying at the All in hostel at grünberger str. 54
and i will be riding in the afternoons since we have to go to museums and stuff before...
all my classmates are going drinking, and since i don't drink i want to expore Berlin.
P.S. i don't know if i'm posting this in the right category, my german is very limited

hey how old are you??
sorry but Berlin is very Flat
you have to find the Teufelsberg in Berlin.
its some KM out of town.. never been there but its should be a little hill. |

there a a few riders in berlin but the dont show up much here in the forum!! |

word, i just don't know how often those berlin riders ride...haven't heard from them for quite a while now...

i'm 19.
i saw a little hill north of where i'm staying so i might go check it out. my english is pretty good so as long as i find people who speak english i should be fine
i will be bringing my longboard for transportation too, so i will ride even if there's no hills.
how are the cops in germany? do they get angry if you ride on the roads?

it depends on the age of policemen, often the just pass by grinning at us  , especially when they are young, but sometimes they get realy angry but the only thing they do is telling you how dangerous that is... so dont worry  |

i've found one guy in Berlin, but he hasn't responded on the mail i sent him, atleast i found some hills on their map.
seems like i will be riding alone. to bad, since i wanted to exchange experiences with some international riders. |

humm that sucks. but that berlin guy hasn't been on here for a long time. still, have fun riding, and yeh...tell your teachers that next time you should move out to south germany / switzerland . |
